The price gaps, in pounds
Samsung's UK launch RRPs are £879 for S26, £1,099 for S26+ and £1,279 for S26 Ultra at 256GB. That makes Plus £220 more than S26, Ultra £180 more than Plus, and Ultra £400 more than S26. Across ten phones, those last two choices put £1,800 or £4,000 of additional handset cost into the comparison, including VAT.
These are dated manufacturer reference prices. They exclude airtime and are not current CTN offers. Promotions, Enterprise Edition packages and negotiated supply can change the quote.
S26 to S26+: pay for the display, not a different UK chip
The screen grows from 6.3 to 6.7 inches and typical battery capacity rises from 4,300 to 4,900mAh. Weight increases from 167g to 190g. Both UK models use Exynos 2600.
The question is whether a staff member benefits from the extra display area when reading documents, checking schedules or joining calls. A larger battery capacity does not establish a particular number of extra working hours. Test the employee's normal apps, signal conditions and charging routine.
S26+ to Ultra: identify the specialist requirement
Ultra moves to a 6.9-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy and 214g. It adds a built-in S Pen and Privacy Display, alongside a different camera system.
Pen input can be useful for annotations and marking up photographs. Privacy Display can reduce side-angle visibility in shared spaces, but it is not a substitute for device access controls. For a camera-led role, compare the actual photographs required for reports or marketing rather than assuming a higher megapixel count settles the result.
The cost of giving everyone the upgrade
At launch RRP, twenty Ultra handsets cost £8,000 more than twenty standard S26 handsets. A mixed order of fifteen S26 and five Ultra handsets adds £2,000 over twenty S26 phones. Both calculations use 256GB handset prices including VAT and omit airtime, accessories and service costs.
That gives a purchasing team a concrete choice: put the premium devices into five roles that can use them, or fund the wider upgrade for a demonstrated reason. Adjust the quantities in the calculator.
Compare the business package as well as the phone
Check the exact UK product code if you need Enterprise Edition. Warranty, support, management licences and deployment services must be confirmed for the package being supplied.
Before requesting a quote, test Galaxy AI, Call Screening and DeX in the work environment. Compare coverage, data and the full payment schedule across the proposed term.
